We are seeking an experienced Service Manager for a new position in Port Perry, ON.
This role involves leading a team to optimize operations and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include overseeing daily shop activities, managing a skilled workforce, ensuring high-quality repairs, handling warranty claims, fostering interdepartmental collaboration, and driving profitability.
Service Manager Duties:
- Manage daily shop operations and a team of technicians, apprentices, and service writers.
- Ensure accurate work orders and timely, high-quality repairs.
- Handle complex equipment maintenance and resolve customer complaints.
- Drive service marketing efforts to increase profitability and community engagement.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate team performance, ensuring productivity.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Service Manager Requirements:
- Previous experience managing a service team, preferably in automotive, agricultural, or heavy equipment industries.
- Strong technical background with expertise in repairs, diagnostics, and warranty processing.
- Exceptional customer service, leadership, and time management skills.
- Adaptability, analytical thinking, and a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Daily access to reliable transportation.
