Experienced Mobility Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Experienced Mobility Specialist for a new full time position in Oshawa, ON.

This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service and support for individuals requiring mobility and accessibility solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the mobility and accessibility industry, with a strong network of Occupational Therapists (OTs) and a passion for enhancing clients’ quality of life.

Experienced Mobility Specialist Duties:

• Collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists to assess client needs and recommend suitable mobility and accessibility equipment.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through product options and helping them make informed decisions.
• Provide personalized and empathetic customer service, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the process.
• Coordinate equipment demonstrations and training sessions for clients and caregivers.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, OTs, and other healthcare professionals in the assigned regions.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing accurate information and follow-up support.
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, product recommendations, and service outcomes.

Experienced Mobility Specialist Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in the mobility and accessibility industry.
• Established network of Occupational Therapists within the Durham, Kawartha Lakes, and Haliburton regions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize with clients and build trust.
• Proven ability to work independently while managing a large territory effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
• Daily access to reliable transportation.
