Description

We are seeking an experienced individual for new Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable opportunity for a full time position at our client's office in the Peterborough area.

The successful candidate must be able to perform all basic bookkeeping functions, such as: AR, AP, Bank Reconciliation and deposits, and administrative duties such as reception, managing petty cash, and receiving orders.

Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Bank reconciliations and deposits
  • Expedite/receive orders
  • Manage petty cash
  • Reception
  • Administrative support
  • Other duties as assigned

Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable Requirements:

  • Proven bookkeeping and Accounts Payable experience
  • Bookkeeping, Accounting or Business Administration Certificate or Diploma; designation an asset
  • Administrative experience
  • Strong computer and typing skills
  • Strong MS Excel experience
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
