Administration/Customer Service Representative
Description
We are seeking a Administration & Customer Service Representative for a new full-time position Peterborough, ON.
The successful candidate will primarily be tasked with handling rent payments and providing administrative support. This role involves direct interaction with residents, managing phone systems, processing applications, and maintaining office records.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.
Duties (not exhaustive):
- Process rent payments and manage related administrative tasks
- Respond to inquiries and provide information to tenants and the public
- Maintain and update filing systems and office documentation
- Handle payment discrepancies and assist with tenant account management
- Prepare correspondence and manage office supplies
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- 2-year College Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of clerical and office administration experience
- Knowledge of Housing Services Act and related regulations
- Proficiency with Yardi and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and handle confidential information
- Ability to input data efficiently and ensure proper payment processing
Working Conditions:
- Office setting with frequent sitting and computer use
- Regular interruptions, occasional travel
